Do you have a pellet stove? Did you know that when the power goes out the stove can vent the smoke throughout the house. Ok, so you may have an automatic generator and that’s great but can take 45-120 seconds to kick on. If you have a portable generator you will take at least 5 min to get it going and SMOKE!
Just buy a UPS battery back up 900 plus watts and it will hold off the smoke and run the stove until you hastily get the power up on the generator.
