Pictures! Pictures! Pictures! If I posted a few pictures with this post it would have more flair for sure but for a simple post it’s not needed. When your contractor of any type does an inspection or actual work for you then pictures become a must. How do you know what was done or what the difference is between the way you were told was incorrect or broken and what is now in place? Every phone has a camera and it doesn’t need to be an Ansel Adams but it does need to be proof positive that the work you were promised is the work you are about to pay for. Put it in the agreement and a good contractor should have no issues with taking some pictures during the phases of their work to be sent as the days go on. And for the contractors Peace of mind as well as they can always refer if sent via email to the correct work they performed should there be any questions.
